It has 8” diameter collectors that help to meet the statistical accuracy and is connected to most standard tipping-bucket rain gauge and record rainfall times, duration, momentary contact events and temperature, etc. Since it stores the event data at the time of its happening, its memory can be efficiently used. One can easily view the data in inches and millimetres. Also, it features 32,000 event memories. Its tips are logged with time-stamps to gauge rainfall intensity, and the lockout feature of it eliminates the false recording from the tipping-bucket bounce. Since it has its USB connector, there is no need for any external device for downloading data & configuration for data logger operation.
